Experienced IT leader to further scale the group’s technology capabilities
The @Leisure Group, one of the largest players in the European online market for vacation rentals, has appointed Jim Beattie as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As of today, Beattie will be responsible for scaling the capabilities of the various group technology teams and platforms.

Beattie demonstrates solid leadership, sets clear directions and provides strategic rationale to the business stakeholders. Most recently, Beattie worked as Group SVP Engineering for Time Out PLC. Here he fostered a new engineering culture. Beattie was responsible for the tech acquisition of YPlan and subsequent integration of the YPlan Engineering team and for all technology supporting aspects of a successful IPO. Joining JUST EAT in 2012, he has fulfilled various roles among Director of International Product Development and Director of International Engineering. Beattie started his career at Accenture and holds a BSc (Hons) Computing and Information Systems degree from the University of Manchester.

Jim Beattie will succeed Bret Kelly, who has been appointed Managing Director of Belvilla earlier this year and since then fulfilled the role of CTO ad interim.
